UFC 110 losses a fight / changes another

Just days away from UFC 110 the UFC today had to make some changes to the fight card. According to sherdog Ben Rothwell has dropped out of his fight against Mirko “Cro Cop” Filipovic due to illness. Anthony Perosh will step in on short notice to replace Rothwell in the heavyweight bout against Filipovic. Perosh (10-5) is a Australian fighter that has one fight in the UFC versus Jeff Monson at UFC 61 where he lost by 1st round TKO. I give him mad props for taking the fight on short notice and the hometown fans will love him too but I don’t see him standing a chance. If he does pull off the upset he will end the MMA career of the legend Cro Cop.
The UFC also announced the Elvis Sinosic vs. Chris Haseman fight has been cancelled due to a shoulder injury by Sinosic. This really sucks for the fans watching live at the arena since they were both home grown talent and the UFC had made this fight for them. This fight held no interest for me but I do feel for the Australian fans who miss out of this fight, surprised they didn’t bring in another hometown fighter to step in for Sinosic.
