Bryan Baker’s battle with leukemia has been well-publicized of late and a true inspiration to anyone. Baker (14-2) came up short in last season’s middleweight tournament but the 24-year-old from West Covina, California won a ton of fans over.

Baker took on the veteran Jeremy Horn at tonight Bellator 30 which took place at the Fourth Street Live in Louisville, Ky.

While the fight was the most exciting fight of the night, it did have its moments. Horn came on strong to open the fight getting Baker in some tough spots. Baker was able to keep he’s cool and when the bell rung for round two the tables had turned and baker controlled the rest of the fight.

Horn (86-20-5) appeared to have gassed out after the first round and Baker won a unanimous-decision victory. The loss spoiled the Bellator debut for Horn and also snapped a six-fight win streak.
