Preliminary Card (May not be televised):
170 lbs.: Sam Bracamonte vs. Armin Safiari [Amateur Bout] - Armin Safiari by Unanimous Decision
Mostly a fight in the clinch until the final round where Safiari controlled the round from the top position getting mount multiple times.
165 lbs.: Niko Jackson vs. Ricky Jackson [Amatuer Bout] – Ricky Jackson by Unanimous Decision
Very explosive first round (all standing) with both fighters showing good skills and quickness. Round two ended up as more of a grappling round with both fighters having top positions during the round. Final round had a little bit of both striking and grappling and was very entertaining.
150 lbs.: Anthony Dariano vs. Alan Perez - Anthony Dariano by Unanimous Decision
AKA fighter Dariano just the quick takedown to start the round but spent most of the time defending a guillotine attempt, which really made the round a stalemate. The second round started out very similar to the first round until Dariano secured side control, with a little punishment mixed in. Dariano started the round out with yet another takedown and when the fight got back to their feet, he slammed Perez down.
120 lbs.: Jenna Castillo vs. Charlene Gellner – Jenna Castillo by 2nd round KO
Female fight now with both fighters making their professional debut. Gellner pulled guard halfway through the round and worked several submission attempts but Castillo escaped them all and ended the round in top position. In round two Gellner pulled guard again but found herself mounted by Castillo. The two get back up and Castillo lands heavy knees to the face that sends Gellner to the canvas.
170 lbs.: Lucas Gamaza vs. James Terry – James Terry by 1st round TKO
Terry dominated the fight for the three plus minutes it lasted as he dropped Gamaza multiple times and finished him with some ground and pound.
135 lbs.: Germaine de Randamie vs. Stephanie Webber – Germaine de Randamie by 1st round KO
Randamie dropped Webber right away in the fight, but Webber recovered and took Randamie down. Randamie was just too much though and after working for a submission the fighters stood back up. Randamie would land a brutal knee that would end the fight.
180 lbs.: Ron Keslar vs. Eric Lawson - Ron Keslar by 1st round submission (Arm Bar)
If you blinked you would have missed this fight and the tapout for that matter. Keslar imposed his will in the fight and after several submission attempts he locked in the Armbar for the submission victory.
155 lbs.: Isaiah Hill vs. Bobby Stack – Isaiah Hill by 1st round submission (Triangle Choke)
170 lbs.: Nate Coy vs. Nate Moore - Nate Moore by 2nd round TKO
Main Card (Televised):
205 lbs.: Roger Gracie vs. Trevor Prangley – Roger Gracie by 1st round Submission (RNC)
Gracie really made this look easy. After the two circled each other to open the round, Gracie grabbed a hold of Prangley and it was the beginning of the end for Prangley. Gracie showed off his skills on the ground and really made Prangley look like a rookie in BJJ.
205 lbs.: Herschel Walker vs. Scott Carson – Herschel Walker by 1st round TKO
Other then the head kick that Carson landed to open the round the fight was all Walker. The kick actually seem to fire Walker up as he yelled at Carson when the kick landed, that was all she wrote there. Walker showed improved striking and also improved grappling and transitions. Walker is staying with MMA and not going back to the NFL BTW.
185 lbs.: Ronaldo Souza vs. Robbie Lawler – Ronaldo Souza by 3rd round submission (RNC)
Great first round as Lawler survived being under Jacare to get back up and rock Jacare, dropping him to the canvas. Lawler made the mistake of jumping into his guard which allowed Jacare to recover and finish the round. Second round was all Jacare as he got the early takedown and controlled Lawler for most of the round. Lawler did display some good submission defense and ended the round in top position. Lawler was just rolling the dice too mauch and in the third round Jacare locked in a rear naked choke on a tired Lawler to end the fight.
Main Event:
170 lbs.: Nick Diaz vs. Evangelista Santos – Nick Diaz by 2nd round submission (Armbar)
Great opening round for both as each fighter contolled a part of the round. Cyborg came on strong but Diaz was taking everything he had, including brutal leg kicks. Diaz at the halway point took over and rocked Cyborg multiple times until the bell rang to end the round. Diaz came out in round two continuing to pepper the face of Cyborg, who continued to throw leg kicks but was slowing down. With under a minute Cyborg took the fight to the ground with a trip from the clinch that would end up being a bad move. Diaz showed off his BJJ skills and locked up an armbar that Cyborg couldn’t escape and was forced to tap.
