Titan Fighting Championships 17 Predictions
Making their second appearance on HDNet, Titan Fighting Championships 17 comes to MMA fans live from the Memorial Hall in Kansas City, Kansas on Friday March 25th. Anchoring the TFC 17 card are two “known” fighters making their promotional debuts, each with something to prove.
After recently being released by the UFC, Phil Baroni (13-13) quickly signed with TFC and will be looking to prove that the best is yet to come for the “New York Badass”. Baroni is currently on a three fight losing streak and will be facing relative newcomer Nick Nolte (3-2).
After suffering his first career loss, Bobby Lashley (5-1) left Strikeforce and is now headlining a TFC event. Originally scheduled to face James Jack is now fighting John Ott (8-7) after Jack disappeared off the promotions radar. With his massive body frame and freakish abilities, Lashley appeared on his way to stardom until his cardio failed him in his last bout and he was forced to retire between rounds. Lashley has come out since and said his cardio will not be an issue again, but with that muscular frame the jury will wait to give its verdict.
Also on the card is TUF 10 fighter Abe Wagner (8-3) who was last seen at the last Titan Fighting Championships event defeating the former UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia. Wagner will look to build on that win when he faces Aaron Rosa (15-3) who is riding a three fight winning streak.
Titan Fighting Championships 17 Fight Card:
Bobby Lashley vs. John Ott – Bobby Lashley
Abe Wagner vs. Aaron Rosa – Abe Wagner
Phil Baroni vs. Nick Nolte – Phil Baroni
Eric Marriott vs. Willian de Souza – Willian de Souza
Anthony Gutierrez vs. Jon Hollis – Anthony Gutierrez
Alonzo Martinez vs. Aaron Derrow – Aaron Derrow
