The MMA Pulse Recap: Episode 17 UFC Undisputed 3
Last night’s episode (#17) of The MMA Pulse primarily featured talk of the upcoming UFC Undisputed 3 video game set to hit store shelves next month. The demo was recently released on both the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live and MMA Pulse host Josh Wood talked to Rich Butler from MYTakeRadio.com about the game and its features.
Developed by Yuke’s and Published by THQ, the third installment of the UFC Undisputed franchise will be released in North America on February 14th and Europe on the 17th. Rich broke down some of the new features, including the very popular Pride Mode that includes the promotions rules, ring and even the “screaming lady” announcing the fighters.
The demo features Quinton “Rampage” Jackson vs. Wanderlei Silva in Pride Mode and Jon Jones vs. Anderson Silva in normal mode. Yes Anderson Silva is a middleweight but another added feature to the game is fighters that have actually fought in different weight classes can switch between those weight classes in the game. Before you think it Kenny Florian can only switch between featherweight and lightweight.
The roster for the game is very deep, includes current and a few past UFC fighters along with several Pride stars. There will also be some fighters that will be available as downloadable content including Alistair Overeem, Phil Davis, Nick Diaz, Jason “Mayhem” Miller and Brian Stann.

I was glad to share my thoughts on what I am sure will be a very well received title.
