UFC on Fuel TV 3 Weigh-Ins Pictures and Video
The UFC on Fuel TV 3 weigh-ins took place, today, at the Patriot Center on the campus of George Mason University, in Fairfax, VA. All 24 fighters crossed the famed UFC weigh-in stage and all were able to successfully make-weight. So, all fights are green lighted for tomorrow night on Fuel TV.
This UFC on FUEL TV 3 card is boasting some fighters that are not, as of yet, household names with most casual fans. However, that didn’t stop the Fairfax faithful from letting their voices be heard and professing their fandom for the fighters they came to see. There were some combatants that garnered bigger receptions than others. Major fan favorites appeared to be Kamal Shalorus, who recently moved to and set up his fight camp in nearby Falls Church, VA, Cody McKenzie, Jeff Hougland, whom I think had his own cheering section, Donald Cerrone, Amir Sadollah, from nearby Richmond, VA and, of course, Chan Sung Jung, the Korean Zombie.
There weren’t too many fiery staredowns, as some cards have produced. Although, Jeremy Stephens and Donald Cerrone did a little jawing in their face to face encounter (see above video), in a prelude to what could be tomorrow’s Fight of the Night.
Be sure to tune in to the live Facebook fights that begin at 2:30pm PST / 5:30pm EST and then switch over to Fuel TV to catch the main card fights, which begin at 5:00 pm PST / 8:00pm EST.
