Joseph Henle Signs with MFC
Since his time on The Ultimate Fighter season 11, middleweight Joseph Henle has done nothing but win. Defeating now UFC veteran Constantinos Philippou in the elimination round, Henle lost in the preliminary round to Seth Baczynski and was not brought back to fight in the finale.
Nicknamed “Leonidas” for his resemblance to the Spartan, Henle (6-0-1) is looking to challenge himself and will get just that in the Maximum Fighting Championship after signing a multi-fight deal with the Canadian promotion.
“The last three or four guys I’ve fought, I knew I was the better guy and my opponent knew I was the better guy,” Henle explained.
“I’m very excited to be in the MFC. I’m amped to be a part of it,” said Henle.
The Maximum Fighting Championship will give Joseph Henle a chance to prove himself on a big stage in front of a large audience via HDNet. The first opportunity to shine will come on August 10th when Henle will make his MFC debut against Luke Harris (9-1) at MFC 34: Total Recall. The fight will be one of the featured bouts on the HDNet Fights main card, emanating from the Mayfield Conference Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Joseph Henle will have his hands full against Luke Harris who is currently riding a nine fight winning streak, but that’s exactly the challenge he desires.
