Watch Kenny Florian Explain why he Retired from MMA
During yesterdays TUF Live weigh-ins, UFC President Dana White stuck around after all the fighter made weight to make a special announcement. White starts out by telling a story of a fighter he saw fight in Boston, who he was so impressed with in defeat he offered him a spot on the first season of the Ultimate fighter.
That fighter was Kenny Florian, who would go on to reach the season finals, fight in four weight classes and for three world titles. Having been out of action due to injuries, White’s special announcement was that Kenny Florian was retiring from fighting.
Kenny Florian then took the stage and explained why he was hanging them up and what his plans are for the future. Watch what Kenny Florian had to say below:
