Did you get your Round 5 LE UFC Fan Expo Figures??
One of the hottest booths at last weekend’s UFC Fan Expo in Las Vegas, Nevada was the Round 5 booth. Seemingly always sporting long lines, the fans waiting in those lines would constantly be asked “who’s signing here?” but lo and behold there was no one signing at the Round 5 booth. Unlike other booths inside the Mandalay Bay convention Center, the long lines each day that were winding from the back of the Round 5 booth were for their product.
For those of you that don’t know who or what Round 5 is, they are collectible figures of past and current UFC fighters and personalities. Round 5 President Damon Lau started the company as a fan for fun and things have taken off in a way that Lau could have never imagined. The first Round 5 figure produced was Randy Couture but since then Round 5 has introduced multiples series, collections and sets. The company was even approached by the Bruce Lee family to do exclusive Round 5 figures of the martial arts legend.
During the Expo all of the current collections and Bruce Lee figures were available to purchase but for the UFC Fan Expo only Damon Lau and Round 5 were offering three limited edition figures that were only going to be available during the two-day Expo. The three figures available were two different Donald Cerrone figures (one WEC & UFC) and the UFC President Dana White. There were only 500 of each figure overall and just 250 were brought out each day and they didn’t last long.
Midway through each day the shelves at the Round 5 booths looked sparse and fans hoping to still land one of those LE figures were out of luck. The Round 5 booth was a UFC Fan Expo hit, whether it was a LE figure or one of the other one, they were flying off the shelves.
Where you one of the lucky ones to score a Limited Edition Round 5 UFC Fan Expo exclusive figure???
