Independent MMA Link Club: UFC 151 gets the Can
The MMA world was flipped onto its head this past week when UFC President Dana White made the announcement that UFC 151 had been cancelled. With Dan Henderson injured and Jon Jones taking his ball and going home the UFC made the tough and historic decision to can the PPV fight card.
Obviously the light heavyweight champion Jon Jones got the brunt of the anger but the story doesn’t start and stop with Jones. Of course this week’s Independent MMA Link Club has you covered from multiple angles but we didn’t have blinders on to the rest of the MMA happenings this past week either.
This week’s links include Strikeforce middleweight talk, news regarding two upcoming international cards and of course the biggest story of the week, Jon Jones and UFC 151.
