CageSport XXI Offers Exciting Fight Card this Saturday
This Saturday, September 29th in Tacoma, Washington MMA fans are in for a treat as Halquist Productions’ CageSport XXI takes over the Emerald Queen Casino with three feature bouts. Not only will the card be stacked, it will also be the first time CageSport will have their event televised on ROOT Sports.
“This is going to be a night everybody involved will remember,” said promoter Brian Halquist. “The CageSport brand has grown so much over the years and with the ROOT SPORTS broadcast, things will go to a whole new level. I’m beyond excited for everything that will unfold come September 29!”
Undefeated lightweight Brandon Dudley will look to make it five in a row to open his professional MMA career when he takes on Emmanuel Sanchez. Dudley is a submission specialist who comes into the bout with a lot of hype behind, but Sanchez has won his last two bouts and thinks he should be the one getting all the hype.
Four time amateur champion and Washington native Brent “Mankill” Knopp is scheduled to face Brandon Pitts middleweight division. Knopp is known for his explosive striking and is coming off a win at the last CageSport event. Pitts is also coming off a recent win and will be dropping down from light heavyweight to take on Knopp.
In the feature undercard bout of the night, lightweight rising star Julian Erosa will put his undefeated record on the line against Jason Gybles. Both fighters are submission based so you can expect some grappling in this one.
Other CageSport XXI bouts include:
146 lbs.: Ryan Mulvihill vs. Jacob Boysen
186 lbs.: Jared Torgeson vs. Byron Sutton
171 lbs.: Dave Courchaine vs. Justin Larson
