WCS 11 and The Fit Expo to take place June 30th

World Combat Series is returning to the San Jose, California area on June 30^th with a stacked WCS 11 fight card. Along with the amateur MMA card the Santa Clara Convention center will also play host to the massive FIT EXPO on June 29^th and 30^th.

The FIT EXPO will feature several of today’s elite MMA and fitness companies, along with tournaments, contests, giveaways, seminars and more. Also at the expo will be two BJJ super fights as Nate James takes on Nate Moore and Rick Kingsbury against Kyle Kingsbury in a father vs. son matchup.

The expo will go on throughout the day but at 1pm PT sharp the cage door will close and WCS 11 will get underway. The fight card currently features 15 amateur MMA fights with three title fights closing out the card. Tickets for WCS 11 are just $40 which also includes a free Expo Pass, which is regularly $20. • Current WCS lightweight champion Luis Vargas looks to add the featherweight title around his waist. Standing in the way of that plan is the two-time California State featherweight champion Richard Parra. Expect fireworks here!

Main Event:

125 lbs. Flyweight Title Fight: Matthew Ramirez (C) vs. Jorge Lima

• Coming off a razor-thin decision win at WCS 10, Matthew Ramirez will make his first title defense against Jorge Lima.

WCS 11 will take place June 30th, 2013 at the Santa Clara Convention Center during the Fit Expo which runs Saturday and Sunday (June 29^th – 30th).
