Last Friday, Bellator returned to action with the event being headlined by defending featherweight champion Joe Warren versus tournament winner Pat Curran. The fight ended in the 3rd round when Curran put Warren away with a vicious flurry to get the knockout.

In this interview, Cesar delves deeper into the controversial decision Nick Diaz suffered against Carlos Condit. It's amazing how fast time flies. It doesn't seem that long ago when we watched the quirky Diego Sanchez on the first season of The Ultimate Fighter. Sanchez would go on to finals of the Middleweight tournament and pound Kenny Florian en route to a TKO victory. Since then Sanchez has managed to keep himself relevant in the UFC but not without having to face adversity.

Unlike many professional boxers who have publicly voiced their disdain for mixed martial arts, pro wrestlers have usually been complimentary of the sport. It's common to see tweets from Jim Ross (former WWE announcer) giving his thoughts on a UFC Pay Per View. CM Punk recently planned on walking Chael Sonnen into the cage for the UFC on FOX 2 event.

Did Brock Lesnar do the right thing by calling it a career last Friday night? Randy Couture retired and came back, will Brock? Will we see Lesnar doing his patented “F-5” in the WWE anytime soon? With his post fight announcement that he was retiring from MMA, Lesnar leaves a lot of unanswered questions that will slowly but surely be answered with time.

Should Mayhem Miller be allowed to step inside the octagon, again? After last Saturday night’s performance that question will certainly remain up in the air but I'd bet he will be given the opportunity to redeem himself and is given another chance to prove himself.

It's not often we get two fight of the year caliber fights on the same night, however, that is exactly what happened this past Saturday. Bellator had Michael Chandler vs. Eddie Alvarez and the UFC gave us Dan Henderson vs. Mauricio “Shogun” Rua.

How monumental was UFC on Fox 1? It was so monumental that my 5-year-old was allowed to stay up and watch “the fights”. While she is very aware that daddy is a big fight fan she is also aware that she isn't allowed to stay up and watch them. Not on this Saturday.
