Things get started on The Ultimate Fighter 16 with last week’s winner Jon Manley celebrating the season’s first finish. At the opposite end of things was James Chaney who not only lost the fight but got desperate and bit Manley. In a very mature act, Chaney pulled UFC President Dana White aside and confessed to the act, apologizes and White accepts.
Following the loss at last week’s episode of The Ultimate Fighter, Julian Lane takes the loss hard and breaks down in the locker room. He brings up making the wrong decision in picking his opponent after drawing the shortest straw, something the fighters of Team Carwin learn of and are shocked by the odd methods.
The fighters entered the house for the first time on this week’s episode of The Ultimate Fighter: Team Carwin vs. Team Nelson and the traditional mad dash for the beds occurred. Luckily for us all there was no “hey that’s my bed” shenanigans.
Another season of the ground-breaking MMA reality show The Ultimate Fighter has hit FX, and we’re all waiting to see who sinks and swims as the tournament progresses. The 16th season of The Ultimate Fighter titled The Ultimate Fighter Fridays: Team Carwin vs. Team Nelson premiered tonight with the 16 elimination bouts to finalize the cast of 16 fighters that will compete for the six figure contract.

The 16th domestic season of The Ultimate Fighter begins this Friday on FX and features fighters from the welterweights division.
The cast of 32 welterweights for the upcoming season 16 of The Ultimate Fighter dubbed “The Ultimate Fighter Fridays” have been released. Set to make its premiere in just two weeks and a day on September 14th special two-hour premiere will feature all 32 fighters in 16 elimination fights airing at 9pm ET/ 6pm PT on FX.

Due to a previously scheduled Arena Football game at the HP Pavilion, today’s UFC on FOX 7 weigh-ins were held less than a mile away at the California Theater. The small theater was completely filled with cheering fans and all the fighters they came to see made weight.
