It’s that time of the year, the time when everyone comes out with their “year end” awards. Maximum Fighting Championship has done this for several years and the Canadian promotion has expanded their awards to include Knockouts, Submissions and Fights of the Year, plus they’ve added a handful of one-off awards.
Legacy Fighting Championship hit the HDNet airwaves last night with another exciting Mixed Martial Arts event. Michael Schiavello and Frank Trigg called all the night’s action once again, live from the Houston Arena Theater in Houston, Texas.
Three weeks before the UFC invades Houston, Texas for UFC 136, Houston based Legacy Fighting Championship will hold its eighth professional card (11th overall) at the Houston Arena Theater. Legacy FC 8: Spratt vs. Patino will air live on HDNet on Friday Sep. 16th featuring a main event between middleweights Pete Spratt and Jorge Patino.
Last night the Houston, Texas based Mixed Martial Arts promotion Legacy Fighting Championship help its ninth overall event and first ever to be televised on HDNet. Live from the Houston Arena Theater LFC 7 featured six televised bouts and 11 bouts overall.
From the small confines of the Mayfield Inn Trade and Conference Centre in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada the Maximum Fighting Championship held its 3oth event. Putting on fights in Canada for nearly 10 years, the president of MFC Mark Pavelich announced a new five year deal with HDNet to continue airing MFC events.
The Maximum Fighting Championship is back with fiery action north of the border with MFC 30. Two excellent Co-Main Events make this card a very solid and entertaining event. Mark Pavelich and company always put on a tremendous show at tonight should be no different.
MFC 29 shined up their belts, built their new ring and played a larger arena as they were live from the Colosseum at Caesars Windsor in Windsor, Ontario.
Tonight on HDNet Maximum Fighting Championships will hold an event featuring two world championship matches. It also features many names that have dotted the MMA landscape on the biggest stages. Included on that list are former UFC fighters, Zak Cummings, Terry Martin, Hermes Franca, Pete Spratt and Marcus Davis.
